

It did preheat very quickly and distributed heat evenly when full or just a few items on it. Overall build quality is great and it has plenty of add-on options. Purchased in June 2020 at Appliances Online for $867. There a some really good videos (YouTube etc) to help you try some new things. No more burnt sausages - this BBQ is making me look like a much better cook than I really am :-) Vegies char nicely and eggs and bacon is a breeze. Every other BBQ I have had the temperature would slowly climb and if you didn't check it regularly the roast would start to burn. I set the burners at the desired level and the temperature just sits on 230C the whole time. During the roasting the bbq holds its temperature perfectly. Read more consistently produces the best roast lamb - including those done in our kitchen oven. I have now had it three months and cook on it at least once a week and quite often two tor three times a week. I just never, ever, burn anything with this bbq. It is a lot more enclosed than my previous hooded 4 burner bbqs - which were all good, recognized, brands and so the burner flames aren't at all susceptible to being blown around when BBQing on a windy day.

The first thing I noticed about this BBQ was the firebox - it is made of good solid metal (aluminium maybe) but whatever it is made of it holds its temperature perfectly.
